Doctors at AIIMS, New Delhi, ended their 11-day strike on Thursday following the Supreme Court's appeal. The strike began in protest of the rape and murder of a trainee doctor at Kolkata's RG Kar Medical College. The Resident Doctors' Association (RDA) thanked the Supreme Court for taking action and addressing the safety of healthcare workers. They urged authorities to follow the Court's directives and confirmed that no punitive action will be taken against the striking doctors. The RDA will continue symbolic protests after duty hours until justice is served.
