Junior Doctor: "We Believe the Supreme Court Heard Our Concerns" as AIIMS Strike Ends

Doctors at AIIMS, New Delhi, ended their 11-day strike on Thursday following the Supreme Court's appeal. The strike protested the rape and murder of a trainee doctor at Kolkata's RG Kar Medical College. The Resident Doctors' Association (RDA) expressed gratitude to the Court for addressing their concerns and ensuring the safety of healthcare workers. They confirmed no punitive action will be taken against the striking doctors and will continue symbolic protests after duty hours until justice is served. Junior doctor Shivangi Singh at AIIMS Nagpur, stated, "The formation of the national task force is a positive step. We believe the Supreme Court heard our concerns, and we hope for a favorable outcome."
