The psychoanalytic profile of Sanjay Roy, the main suspect in the Kolkata rape-murder case, reveals unsettling findings. According to a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) officer, Roy displayed traits such as addiction to pornography and "animal-like instincts" and showed no remorse for his crime. Roy, a civic volunteer with Kolkata Police, was arrested on August 10, following the discovery of a 31-year-old trainee doctor’s body at RG Kar Medical College and Hospital on August 9. The Central Forensic Science Laboratory (CFSL) conducted the psychoanalytic assessment. The profile highlights Roy’s lack of repentance, as he recounted the crime with detailed descriptions and no visible regret.
