The CBI raided fifteen locations on Sunday, including the residence of sacked RG Kar Medical College principal Sandip Ghosh, investigating corruption linked to financial irregularities. The probe follows a Calcutta High Court order transferring the case from the West Bengal special investigation team. The case revolves around alleged misconduct during Ghosh's tenure and the rape-murder of a woman trainee doctor on August nine. The CBI conducted polygraph tests on Ghosh, two doctors, and others linked to the crime. Kolkata police have also banned protests outside RG Kar Medical College, citing law and order concerns.
