The CBI raided 15 locations, including former RG Kar Medical College principal Sandip Ghosh’s premises, on Sunday as part of a corruption investigation linked to financial irregularities at the Kolkata hospital. This follows the agency's registration of a case after a trainee doctor's death earlier this month. The CBI took over the case from a West Bengal special investigation team per a Calcutta High Court directive. The court also ordered the CBI to submit a progress report within three weeks.
