The West Bengal Junior Doctors Forum has called for a massive rally in Kolkata on Wednesday to demand justice for the trainee doctor raped and murdered at RG Kar Medical College. The rally, starting from Shyambazar to Dharmatala, will focus on safety for women healthcare workers and fast-track court proceedings. However, the forum clarified that it will not join Tuesday's Nabanna Abhijan march organized by student groups. Prominent figures from education, medicine, and social activism have expressed support for the forum’s cause, which has garnered widespread backing since the movement began 18 days ago.
