On September 1, Day 4 of the Paris Paralympics 2024, Indian athletes Avani Lekhara and Preethi Pal are set to compete in key events. Lekhara, who will team up with Sidharth Banu, will aim for medals in the mixed 10m air rifle Prone SH1 event. Meanwhile, Preethi Pal will race in the women’s 200m T35 event. India is also guaranteed a medal in the men’s badminton singles SL4 category, where Sukant Kadam faces Suhas Yathiraj in the semi-finals. Other competitors include Nitesh Kumar in men’s badminton singles SL3 and Ravi Rongali in men’s shot put.
