India's Nishad Kumar secured his second Paralympic silver medal in the men's high jump T47 event at the Paris Paralympics. The 24-year-old athlete achieved a season-best jump of 2.04 meters, finishing behind USA's Roderick Townsend, who claimed gold with a 2.12m jump. This victory follows Nishad's silver in the same event at the Tokyo Paralympics in 2021. Despite narrowly missing the 2.08m mark, Nishad's impressive performance solidifies his status in para-athletics. Meanwhile, fellow Indian athlete Ram Pal finished seventh with a personal best of 1.95m.
