The Bengaluru Police have filed a chargesheet against Kannada actor Darshan Thoogudeepa in connection with the murder of his fan, Renukaswamy. Darshan, currently in judicial custody until September 9, faces charges supported by over 200 pieces of evidence. This includes forensic reports of bloodstains on Darshan’s and other accused individuals' clothing, a photograph from an accused’s phone showing Renukaswamy pleading not to be beaten, CCTV footage of Darshan, and bloodstains on actor Pavithra Gowda's footwear, allegedly used to assault Renukaswamy. The victim, an auto driver, was found dead near a Bengaluru flyover on June 9.
