Sachin Khilari Wins Silver in Shot Put at Paris Paralympics, India’s Tally Reaches 21

Sachin Khilari secured a silver medal in the men's shot put F46 final at the Paris Paralympics 2024 with a throw of 16.32 meters on Wednesday. He finished just behind Canada’s Greg Stewart, who recorded a season-best throw of 16.38 meters. Khilari’s achievement brings India’s medal tally to 21, surpassing its previous record of 19 at the Tokyo Paralympics. India now ranks 19th on the medal table, with a total of three gold, eight silver, and ten bronze medals. This marks another significant milestone for India at the Paralympic Games.
