Security forces in Manipur have destroyed three militant bunkers in Churachandpur district after a rocket attack killed one person and injured six others in Bishnupur. The operation was carried out in Mualsang and Laika Mualsau villages, where two and one bunkers were destroyed respectively. Militants had launched long-range rockets from civilian areas, prompting a combing operation by police and additional security forces. Aerial patrolling has also been launched using a military helicopter. The attack on security forces was repelled, and the situation is being closely monitored.
