According to the investigation, Ghosh favored certain vendors, including Maa Tara Traders and Hazra Medical, for contracts, benefiting them during his tenure at multiple medical institutions. Additionally, a café contract was awarded to the wife of his security aide at the college. Ghosh and three others were arrested and produced in court. The CBI is investigating financial irregularities and potential connections to the rape and murder case of a junior doctor.
