The death toll in the Lucknow building collapse rose to 8 as rescue teams recovered three more bodies on Sunday. The three-storey structure, located in Transport Nagar, collapsed on Saturday evening, injuring 28 people. The building housed warehouses and a motor workshop, and construction work was reportedly underway at the time of the incident. Akash Singh, a worker injured in the collapse, mentioned noticing a crack in a pillar just before the building gave way. Rescue operations are ongoing to ensure no one remains trapped under the rubble. The injured have been admitted to local hospitals for treatment.
