In Uttar Pradesh's Bahraich, a fifth man-eater wolf was captured by the forest department as part of 'Operation Bhediya.' The wolf was caught near the Ghaghara river, close to where another wolf was previously captured. Only one wolf remains on the loose. These wolves have terrorized the region, killing 10 people, including 9 children, and injuring 36 in the past month. The state government declared the situation a 'wildlife disaster,' and patrol teams are actively working to prevent further attacks. Experts suggest the wolves may be seeking revenge after their den was destroyed by flooding.
