A Border Security Force (BSF) personnel was injured in an unprovoked firing incident by terrorists in the Akhnoor sector of Jammu and Kashmir. The incident occurred at 2:35 am on Wednesday, with the BSF responding promptly. The injured jawan is undergoing treatment at a hospital. This comes two days after two terrorists were killed in a gunfight with security forces along the Line of Control (LoC) in Rajouri district. A high alert has been sounded in the area, with troops remaining vigilant.
