On Friday, the Supreme Court granted bail to Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal in the CBI case related to the Delhi liquor policy scam, six months after his arrest. The court’s decision was unanimous on granting bail but had differing opinions on the legality of Kejriwal's arrest. This ruling allows Kejriwal to be released from jail, where he was already on interim bail in a separate money laundering case handled by the ED. Kejriwal joins other high-profile figures who have been granted bail in this case, including AAP leaders Manish Sisodia and Sanjay Singh, and Bharat Rashtra Samithi's K Kavitha.
