American ultra-endurance cyclist Lael Wilcox set a new world record by becoming the fastest woman to cycle around the world. Wilcox completed the 18,125-mile journey in 108 days, surpassing the previous record of 124 days set by Jenny Graham in 2018. She traversed 21 countries, facing challenges like illness and tough weather but pushed through to finish in her hometown, Chicago. "I had so much fun — felt like I could’ve just kept riding forever," Wilcox shared. Indian cyclist Vedangi Kulkarni is also attempting a similar feat.
