Kolkata’s junior doctors continue their protest outside the Swastha Bhawan for the fourth consecutive day, gaining widespread support from locals. Civil society groups, local businesses, and individuals have been providing food, water, and medical supplies. A man from Chandannagar, West Bengal, set up a makeshift kitchen to cook for the doctors, while others placed online orders to support them. Delivery personnel, students, and villagers have also contributed food, raincoats, tarpaulin, and medicines. Protesters remain committed to their cause, while still providing emergency medical care on site.
