Delhi Police registered a case after firecrackers were burst outside Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s residence in Civil Lines following his release from Tihar Jail. The incident occurred despite the Delhi government's ban on the production, sale, and use of firecrackers to control air pollution, which was announced on Monday. The case, filed under section 223 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, is against unknown individuals.
