India's Neeraj Chopra secured second place at the Diamond League Final 2024 in Brussels on September 14, falling just short of victory. Chopra's best throw of 87.86 meters was narrowly behind Grenada’s Anderson Peters, who won with a throw of 87.87 meters. This marks Chopra's second consecutive runner-up finish at the Diamond League. Despite a strong performance and a season-best throw, Chopra couldn't surpass Peters' initial lead. The competition, held at the King Baudouin Stadium, concluded Chopra’s season, which also saw him win silver at the Paris Olympics.
