A three-storey building collapsed in Meerut's Zakir Colony, Uttar Pradesh, killing 10 and injuring 5. The incident occurred around 4:30 pm, and emergency services immediately launched rescue operations. The National Disaster Response Force, fire brigade, and police teams are still working to clear the debris. According to officials, all 15 individuals trapped have been accounted for, with five survivors receiving treatment at Lala Lajpat Rai Memorial Medical College. Meerut DM Deepak Meena confirmed that operations will continue until no human life remains in the debris. Uttar Pradesh is also grappling with floods affecting 11 districts.
