A polygraph test conducted by the CBI has found that Dr. Sandip Ghosh, former principal of RG Kar hospital, deliberately attempted to deceive investigators in the rape-murder case of a trainee doctor. The test results, mentioned in the CBI's remand note, indicate Ghosh had no intention of filing a First Information Report (FIR). Ghosh and senior police officer Abhijit Mondal were arrested for delaying the FIR and mishandling evidence. The CBI used layered voice analysis and polygraph tests to uncover the truth.
