Two speeding luxury cars, a Mercedes and a BMW, crashed into a cab on the Bandra-Worli sea link in Mumbai on Sunday morning. The cars, reportedly racing, lost control and hit the cab, which overturned due to the impact. A family of four, including a 10-year-old child, was inside the cab. Fortunately, no one was seriously injured. The drivers of the luxury cars, Tariq Chaudhary and Sehbaz Khan, were arrested, and police have charged them with attempted culpable homicide and rash driving. The accident caused a traffic jam on the sea link, with both cars suffering significant damage. The vehicles were registered with private firms.
