15 Arrested After 21 Houses Burned in Bihar’s Nawada Over Land Dispute

Fifteen people have been arrested in connection with the burning of 21 houses in Nawada, Bihar, on Wednesday. The incident, which involved shots being fired and extensive property damage, is believed to be linked to a land dispute. Nawada District Magistrate Ashutosh Kumar Verma confirmed a Special Investigation Team (SIT) has been formed to investigate further. No injuries were reported. Police and fire services responded promptly, but the fire took time to control. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has dispatched a fact-finding team to the area to assess the situation.
