A shocking incident has come to light in Odisha, where a woman, friend of an Army officer, has alleged sexual harassment and illegal detention of her partner at a police station near Bhubaneswar. The woman, who was released on bail after being arrested for assaulting cops and vandalizing police property, claims she was mistreated while trying to file a complaint at Bharatpur Police Station. The complaint stems from a Sunday night attack by a group of men, which she and her friend fought off. Five police officers, including an Inspector, have been suspended for "gross misconduct" pending disciplinary action.
