Kajal Khatri, known as "Lady Don," was arrested by the Delhi Crime Branch for orchestrating the murder of Air India crew member Suraj Mann in January 2023 for ₹4 lakh. Khatri allegedly collaborated with Naveen Sharma, who received ₹1.5 lakh in advance to procure weapons, with the rest to be paid after the killing. The plot was disrupted when Noida Police arrested Sharma before he could complete the transaction. Authorities are now preparing to take action against Khatri under the Gangster Act, and investigations are ongoing to identify and apprehend others involved in the conspiracy, according to Additional DCP Manish Kumar Mishra.
