Four Border Security Force (BSF) jawans were killed, and 28 others injured when their bus fell into a deep gorge in Budgam, Jammu and Kashmir, on Friday. The bus, carrying 36 soldiers for election duty during the second phase of the Assembly polls, plunged into a ravine near the village of Brell. A rescue operation commenced with the assistance of local residents, and the injured were promptly taken to nearby hospitals for treatment. Photos from the scene depict the bus severely damaged. The incident has raised concerns over transportation safety for security personnel engaged in duty in the region.
