Coldplay's lead vocalist Chris Martin has revealed that the band plans to stop recording new music after their 12th album. Speaking to Zane Lowe for Apple Music, Martin confirmed that their final album will be released in 2025. The decision, inspired by musical legends like The Beatles and Bob Marley, aims to maintain high quality in their discography. Coldplay is currently promoting their 10th album, Moon Music, releasing on October 4, 2024. While new music may cease, Martin hinted at future tours and collaborations. Coldplay’s final India concert series will be held in Mumbai in January 2025.
