Ratan Tata, the iconic industrialist and former chairman of Tata Sons, was cremated with full state honours in Mumbai. The Maharashtra government declared a day of mourning to pay tribute to the business leader, who passed away at 86. Tata's body was kept at the National Centre for Performing Arts (NCPA) for public homage before being taken to Worli for cremation. Chief Minister Eknath Shinde called Tata a “living legend” and cancelled all state events. Prominent figures like Amit Shah and Piyush Goyal attended the funeral.
