Nayab Saini is expected to take oath as Haryana's Chief Minister on October 15, following the Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) victory in the assembly elections. A 10-member committee, led by the Panchkula District Commissioner, is overseeing preparations for the ceremony. Saini, who replaced Manohar Lal Khattar in March, is from the Other Backward Classes (OBC) community. The BJP secured 48 seats, its best-ever result in Haryana. Key ministerial candidates include Mahipal Dhanda and Mool Chand Sharma. The new cabinet will have a maximum of 14 ministers, including Saini.
