India will allocate satellite spectrum administratively, following global standards, Telecom Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia announced. This decision comes as a relief for Elon Musk, CEO of Starlink, who had criticized spectrum auctions, a method supported by telecom giants Reliance Jio and Bharti Airtel.
