Nayab Singh Saini took oath as Haryana's Chief Minister for the second time today, October 17, 2024, at Panchkula's Shalimar Ground, after leading the BJP to a historic third consecutive victory in the state assembly elections. The BJP secured 48 seats in the 90-member assembly. Haryana Governor Bandaru Dattatreya administered the oath, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, and other senior BJP leaders in attendance. Saini's swearing-in ceremony was attended by around 50,000 people, with special arrangements made for the event.
