Nagpur has launched 250 electric buses to improve its public transport system and reduce air pollution. The initiative, backed by the Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC), follows successful trials recommended by Union Minister Nitin Gadkari. The fleet will accommodate 16,000 daily passengers, transporting over 100,000 people daily. This eco-friendly move aims to lower air and noise pollution, promote clean energy, and reduce traffic congestion.
