Three flights received bomb threats in less than 24 hours, contributing to a rise in hoax calls this week, with over 35 threats reported since Monday. A Vistara flight from Delhi to London was diverted to Frankfurt due to a bomb threat. An Air India Express flight from Jaipur to Dubai also received a bomb threat, which was later deemed fake, causing a delay in the departure of another flight to Dubai. Additionally, an Akasa Air flight from Bengaluru to Mumbai received a bomb threat just before takeoff. In response, civil aviation authorities are implementing stricter measures to address these security concerns.
