The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has arrested IAS officer Sanjeev Hans and former RJD MLA Gulab Yadav for their alleged involvement in a tender scam within Bihar's power ministry. Sanjeev Hans, who served as the principal secretary of the state energy department, was transferred to the general administration department in August following ED's initial searches. The agency conducted multiple raids at locations linked to both Hans and Yadav, with the most recent search occurring on Thursday. Hans was arrested in Patna, while Yadav was taken into custody in Delhi, both under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA).
