Over 20 flights from Vistara, IndiGo, Akasa Air, and Air India received bomb threats on October 20, a day after the Bureau of Civil Aviation Security (BCAS) met with airline CEOs to address increasing hoax threats. Six flights each of Vistara, Akasa Air, and IndiGo were targeted, prompting emergency security checks. Airlines confirmed that all safety procedures were followed in coordination with authorities. The threats follow over 70 similar hoaxes in the past week. The safety and security of passengers, crew, and aircraft remain top priorities for airlines.
