A blast near the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) School in Prashant Vihar, Delhi, on Sunday is believed to involve low-grade explosives, as preliminary investigations revealed no splinters or timers at the site. A senior Home Ministry official noted that no ammonium nitrate was detected, suggesting the device was not intended to cause mass casualties. The crude bomb's placement near local eateries raised concerns, but officials stated it didn’t appear designed for arson. The Delhi Police have filed a case under the Explosives Act but have yet to include provisions of the Unlawful Activities Prevention Act (UAPA).
