Over 200 people fell sick from food poisoning after eating snacks at a memorial event in Pasghoria village, Assam. Guests were served traditional snacks of puffed rice and cream. Many complained of stomach aches, headaches, vomiting, and diarrhea. 53 were taken to health centers, and two were sent to Jorhat Medical College for advanced care. The rest showed minor symptoms and went home for monitoring. Officials say all victims are stable. A food inspector will investigate the cause. Medical teams are checking the villagers' health to prevent further issues.
