"I Prayed for a Solution": Chief Justice Chandrachud on Ayodhya Verdict

Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachud revealed that he prayed to God for a solution during the Ayodhya dispute case. Speaking at a felicitation in his native village, he said, "I sat before the deity and told him he needs to find a solution." Justice Chandrachud reflected on the three months the Ram Janmabhoomi-Babri Masjid case was before him and emphasized the power of faith. "Believe me, if you have faith, God will always find a way," he added. He was part of the five-judge bench that delivered the 2019 verdict, allowing the construction of the Ram temple and allotting land for a mosque.
