7 people, including a doctor and six migrant workers, were killed by terrorists at a construction site in Sonamarg, Jammu and Kashmir. The victims were part of the team working on the Z-Morh tunnel, which connects Gaganeer to Sonamarg. The attack took place on Sunday evening. Security forces have launched a search for the attackers. Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah and Union Home Minister Amit Shah condemned the attack, calling it an act of cowardice. This comes just a day after another migrant worker was killed in a separate incident in Shopian.
