The Resistance Front (TRF), an offshoot of Pakistan-based Lashkar-e-Taiba, has claimed responsibility for a deadly attack in Ganderbal, Jammu and Kashmir, killing a doctor and six migrant workers. The attack, targeting both locals and non-locals, marks a shift in TRF's strategy. TRF chief Sheikh Sajjad Gul reportedly masterminded the assault, which was carried out by his local module. The victims were part of a construction team working on the Z-Morh tunnel project. Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah condemned the attack, which follows a recent killing of a migrant worker in Shopian on October 18.
