A terrorist attack on a tunnel construction site in Ganderbal, Jammu and Kashmir, claimed the lives of a doctor and six migrant workers. The Resistance Front (TRF), an offshoot of Lashkar-e-Taiba, has claimed responsibility for the attack. The incident took place at a camp housing workers involved in the Z-Mohr tunnel project. Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, Home Minister Amit Shah, and other leaders condemned the attack, calling it a cowardly act. Security forces have cordoned off the area, with investigations underway to track the attackers. The Z-Mohr tunnel is strategically vital for the Indian Army.
