The Resistance Front (TRF), an offshoot of Lashkar-e-Taiba, claimed responsibility for the terror attack in Ganderbal, Jammu and Kashmir, on Sunday, which killed a doctor and six migrant workers. The attack, marking a shift in strategy by targeting both locals and non-locals, was orchestrated by TRF chief Sheikh Sajjad Gul. The terrorists conducted reconnaissance for a month before the attack, which took place at a construction site. Leaders including Rahul Gandhi and Omar Abdullah condemned the violence, emphasizing the need for unity against terrorism in the region. Five others were injured in the assault.
