A massive explosion at the Jabalpur Ordnance Factory in Madhya Pradesh on Tuesday resulted in two fatalities and nearly 15 serious injuries. The blast occurred in a refilling section, causing the building to collapse. Rescue operations began immediately, as many employees were feared trapped under the rubble. Preliminary reports indicate that a malfunction in a hydraulic system during the bomb-filling process triggered the explosion in Building 200 of the factory's F-6 section. The blast was so powerful that it was heard up to five kilometers away, alarming nearby residents who initially mistook it for an earthquake.
