In India, 27 flights received new bomb threats on Friday, affecting major carriers such as IndiGo, SpiceJet, Vistara, and Air India. This marks a concerning trend, with nearly 300 Indian flights targeted over the last 11 days. On Thursday alone, 85 flights received similar threats. The Civil Aviation Ministry, led by Ram Mohan Naidu, is actively seeking solutions, including amendments to Aircraft Security Rules to place offenders on a no-fly list. Social media giants Meta and X are also under scrutiny, with officials citing their role in circulating these false alarms.
