A fatal accident occurred in Andhra Pradesh's Eluru district when a two-wheeler carrying Diwali firecrackers, known as "onion bombs," hit a pothole and exploded. One person died and six others were injured in the blast, which happened near a temple at 12:17 pm. The explosives had an equivalent power to an Improvised Explosive Device (IED). CCTV footage captured the incident. The injured are receiving medical treatment. Authorities are investigating the cause of the accident.
