Security forces killed two terrorists in an encounter in Jammu and Kashmir's Anantnag district this morning during an anti-terrorist operation in Halkan Gali. Earlier, another encounter occurred in Srinagar’s Khaynar area as security forces conducted a cordon and search operation. These actions follow recent targeted attacks on migrant workers in the Kashmir Valley, including the shooting of two men from Uttar Pradesh in Budgam district a day earlier. This marked the fourth such attack on migrants in two weeks, with the deadliest incident on October 20, when seven people were killed by terrorists at a tunnel site in Ganderbal.
