A grenade attack near the Tourist Reception Centre, close to Srinagar's Lal Chowk, left 11 civilians injured on Sunday. The explosive device, thrown into a bustling Sunday market, detonated on a street vendor's cart, injuring individuals aged 16 to 55. Four of the wounded were discharged after first aid, while others are being treated at SMHS Hospital. The attack follows the recent killing of a Pakistani Lashkar-e-Taiba commander in Srinagar. The J&K police's Special Operations Group has launched a search to apprehend the attackers, while Chief Minister Omar Abdullah urged swift action to restore public safety.
