At least 12 civilians were injured in a grenade attack in Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir, on Sunday. The blast occurred at the Sunday market near the Tourist Reception Centre, causing panic among shoppers. The injured, including eight men and one woman, were transported to Shri Maharaja Hari Singh Hospital, where their conditions are reported as stable. Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah condemned the attack, emphasizing that there can be no justification for targeting innocent civilians. This incident follows the killing of a top Lashkar-e-Taiba commander by security forces in Srinagar the previous day.
