Supreme Court Slams Delhi Government for Failing to Enforce Cracker Ban, Orders Affidavit on Pollution Control

The Court has ordered the Delhi Police Commissioner and the AAP government to submit affidavits within a week, outlining steps taken to enforce the ban and future measures. Noting rising instances of stubble burning, the Court also directed Punjab and Haryana to submit reports. Delhi's AQI breached the 400 mark on Monday, making it the world’s most polluted city post-Diwali.
